About The Role
Are you a detail-oriented and proactive accountant looking to make an impact in a dynamic, high-growth environment? Pronto Pilates is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and managing financial transactions to support our ambitious expansion. Your keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills will help us optimize financial processes and drive informed decision-making.
You’ll work autonomously while collaborating with internal teams to streamline operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to strategic financial planning.
If you’re proficient in Xero (or similar), Excel, and multi-currency transactions, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this could be the perfect fit for you!
To secure an interview, you should possess the following:
- Degree or Qualification in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in accounting or related field
- Exceptional inter-personal and communication skills, both verbally and written
- Sound time management and organizational skills
- The ability to work autonomously
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (formulas, functions, etc.)
- Familiarity with Xero (or similar) accounting software
- Multi-currency experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of data entry accuracy and attention to detail
Desired Experience:
- Experience in a start-up environment is a plus!
This is a full time position. While the hours are flexible, the majority of those hours will be between 8:00 am – 7:00 pm SAST.
